Bwugger, just built my extended Dream using 4 turns of .20 Kanthal around a figure of eight 2mm. Ekowool giving me 2.4ohm. Trim the loose ends back to the coil leaving 2 loops that just sit on top of the juice channels.(this is how I also build my Kayfun Mini).
Filled it up with PVC. Once all joints are tight just held the attie on its side with one of the juice channel holes uppermost which allowed a large air pocket inside the juice cone to escape and vaped. I have had to lower the wattage of my Evic from 9 watts down to 7 watts.

Twice the vapour of my Kafun Mini and for the first time in a long while, I got a nic rush. Great flavour, great TH and great vapour. No leaks so far

Quite a cool vape compared to the Kayfun which is nice and warm but hey ho, cant have everything

That's coz the mouthpiece is about eighteen inches from the coil

Found the throat hit better if you use a cheapo DT (like the one supplied with the dream) rather than something fancy....

Filling okay. Odd air lock. Bungs fine (cheap enough from anywhere)

@johanino people have found that putting another piece of wick on top of the coiled wick, then pushing the centre metal stop back on tightly definitely helps stop any gurgling/leaking issues on the Evod

Not rewicking, no.... just pull the metal bit off from above the wick and add a pice of 2mm wick on top of the existing setup

Hi folks
Have now re-wicked the dream 3 times and I seem to be getting a very strong vape but the taste is to much,not burning but leaving a nasty taste and hurting the throat.What do you think im doing wrong,
ohms reading 1.2 /1.7 and 2.2'
ive been filling from the top and then turning the clear tube just enough to see air bubbles ,no leaking or gurgling just very strong almost sour flavour.thanks michnig.

I'm getting the same it's like a taste or smell of burning paper , I ordered some 2mm ekowool doubled that over and used 4 wraps of .2 kanthal came out as 1.9 ohms that's calmed it down a lot , but it's still there faintly , I'm guessing its just hot wicking enough

I was getting that initially, but have found a couple of dry tokes (so you can see bubbles rising) seems to sort out the pressure and wicking. Once it's settled down it vapes like a dream (see what I did there) I am going to get a couple more.

Ekowool does seem to be the way forward, all of my silica attys have improved with its use.

Got mine from EcigWizard, www.ecigwizard.com/tanks-rebuildable/  1/1.5/2mm.  cloud9 have it as well, but are only open at odd times.  Trying to find a source for 3mm.

Edit.  Found some:  www.digitalsteamuk.co.uk/silica-wick-rope-3mm-1m-length.html

They seem to have all the sizes.  Not seen that site before.
