Welcome to AAEC . . . You have found the most friendly Vaping forum on the Internet
Keeping the price down mainly involves mixing your own liquids....
Have a browse around on the forum for a week or two and you will learn plenty

mainly im interested in keeping the price down, any suggestions? Welcome to AAEC !! The choice of equipment is vast. The best starting point is to visit some of our favourite vendors sites to see WHAT you can get for your budget. I would personally recommend UKEcigCabin or VapeEscape as good starting points. These vendors have a proven track record of reliability and are extremely helpful in advising you on 'what goes with what' www.ukecigcabin.com/www.vapeescape.co.uk/They both offer good starting kits of high quality devices.

Hello and welcome Janderson. Yes there are plenty of vendors on here that sell liquids at reasonable prices, dont forget to look out for the discount codes that a lot of them have too.

Welcome janderson - what are you using at the moment? There are some ecigs out there that are frighteningly expensive (not to mention ineffective) and can be beaten in every way by getting a good kit from an online source. The good people on here know all the tricks.

Well as far as the cigs themselves i haven't found a brick and mortar store that sold replacement Clearos as cheap as online, although I bought a few from a chinese site (4 CE4s) and they all broke so it' good to look for quality vendors, maybe check out the vendors review forum and just browse through a few sites based on the reviews you find. How much was your first ecig?
Mine cost £44.99 for a starter kit with two CE5+ with two 650mah with a usb charger and a case, looking back that's a very expensive price to pay for somethng i could of got for £20 or less. Moral of the story is do your research

Hi janderson welcome you have definately come to the right place as glen mentioned above you can be overcharegd on starter equipment or if you really look around you can get a great intermediate kit for the same have a look at this link. www.vapertrain.com/product/vv2k you will not go far wrong with a kit like that i bought mine two weeks after starting with ecigs as i was looking for something more i knew it was bigger and thought it would be ideal for use at home etc, once it had arrived it did not leave my side and still is with me most of the time. The only thing missing from that kit is juice:) Happy Vapping

Now juice...... That's even more of a challenge than the equipment. There are so many brands, flavours, vendors and prices in this category it's almost a bit overwhelming.
A few options to start with are DIY vs Premixed, it can be cheaper to mix your own but I find that if this is an alternative to smoking and not an enthusiastic hobby of yours then it can mean losing some precious time just to save a few bob. Although some people view mixing as precious time so you decide how you feel about that.
Then the PG/VG mix ratio, someone else will have to chip in on that as I'm a bit undereducated on this subject.
Flavours is a topic that doesn't end, new flavours every day, one website had over 1000 although a lot were just slight variations of each other.
Beware though, I've read threads that claim some eliquid (citrus and banana) can have adverse affects on your gear but again I'm undereducated on this
