Problem with kindle

Wife's kindle, was fine last night, she came home from work, picked it up and it has a remnant of the screensaver thingy on whatever page you put it on, googled, tried hard reset, no joy, so got them to phone us back and they are sending out a new kindle, here on Monday and a bag to send the old one back glad it didn't go in a couple of month's as would have been out of the year's warrenty.
Best bit she says, That was easy wasn't it. bloody easy, I googled, I got them to ring us back, all she did was say what was wrong with it to the guy on the phone, Women

Well new kindle just arrived in the post, can't fault the service at all

Amazon are pretty good with their customer service. A friend of mine has broken 4 kindle's and they've replaced all of them even though she broke them!

Bloody hell, mebe your friend should stick with the printed version

Amazon are great for customer service.  never any problems- they just send a new one and give you free postage to return the faulty.  even if  its fine and you just changed your mind they just take it back and credit your card,vcan't fault them.
and the Kindle is the best gadget i have bought in years
