Yes if you want something that looks like a duck, quacks like a duckhorse and is a duckcheaper version/shape of an Evic with out the functions that people buy an Evic for. You may as well get an Ego

The only thing i can think is you might be able to program it with the software that has the settings for your evic once set up then will perform the same but a cheaper unit to use at work.

It would be good if they UPPED the power from 11 watts, maybe they can do that now that the new head presumably doesnt have all the sensitive electronics of the proper one.

I take my vamo along every where so I dont think Ill be in a rush to buy this head once I get round to ordering the Evic.

I agree oxo which is why I said it is just a glorified topcap/attie connector ........with a micro usb port, that screws into an Evic tube

If these was available before I got my vamo I most probably have opted for one as it has VV and pass through capabilitys.
As it happen Im going to end up with to very good but incompatible devices.
VV and pass through are very appealing at the point of owning just ego style batterys and this set up is a great gate way to the Evic wardrobe.

Evic Tubes at £14 and this head at £15? Id say is value for money, people entering the VV devices have never had it so good.

That is exactly my point robby, it is not an Evic as we know it! That does not mean that it is not good, it may well be ideal in some situations but for me, I purchased an Evic because I wanted all the whistles and bells

Yes, me too mate, if you are using the software to keep an eye on what nic you are taking in, this will balls all that up unless they can link it somehow, but at £15 I doubt it

I saw this website mentioned on another forum ref the new head, the head and description looks very familiar

If it read the ohms. Other than that its a good passthrough until you save up for the screened head.
