All I can find is max discharge current 10A.
Th Panasonic CGR18650CH is a very solid battery as seen in the below video.

I think for what we are looking for they are probably about as good as each other Tbh I'm not too sure based on the 2.9a recommendation of the other one's whereas everywhere is happy to say max 10a on the CGH one's. It could be that although the NCR one's are a higher capacity they scrimped on the discharge rating.

I think the one you quoted has a recommended discharge rate of 2.15 from the same venders listings, but when it comes down to it they are both excellent unprotected cells with safe chemistry

The test in video is the CGR18650CH which has 10 amp output. The CGR18650CG has a PTC fitted to limit the current so will not get so hot and is safer should a short occur. It should give 4.3 Amps easily which is way more than you need.
The NCR battery (2900mah) should give you up to 5.9 amps easily. To get the full capacity from an NCR you need to discharge to 2.5 volts. There is only about a 50 to 100mAh gain in going for the higher capacity if you cut off at 3.3 volts, about the same or even less if you cut of at 3.6 volts, so they are not nearly as good value as the 2250mAh panasonics - CG model.

They are all good batteries - just need to pick the closest one best for your application. be it computers, ecigs or led bike lights or some other application. In a straight mod with just a switch then the best battery is the one with the smallest voltage drop as it discharges a given Ah capacity, which is the CGR batteries.

Nice one BramblesBrilliant information, thank you I did think the CGR's were the better of the bunch but wasn't 100% certain.
