Ok folks I just got in after a great day/night out which I tend to do a couple a times a month these days, used to be every week but getting a little long in the tooth for it now , but once out and about I think I should do this more often and then again once I am in and settled and on the internet somewhere like here or other forums I tend to feel like mehh can't be arsed going out and that will be that , so am not going to ramble on about what I do any more about what I do, what is your social life like these days ? do you like going down to your local or going for a quiet meal or a bit of karaoke then onto a club or what ever, so what floats your boat, show us your social side, your sincerely Mybad. Might not get much response to this ,me ramble thinking again with a little intoxicated head.

We too went out to the Bistro this evening as we couldn'y be assed cooking a meal.
The Bistro in question allows vaping so we had a nice meal and a vape as we watched the sunset over the loch. A lovely way to start the evening.

A lovely way to start the evening. That sounded a really nice chill out evening lobey , providing the meal was up to scratch and you enjoyed it. Edit , dam you already said it was nice , bit of head haze here.

Going for a meal and the cinema next Saturday but I do enjoy going out for a girls night out and having a laugh and dancing until my feet hurt.
I don't get many nights off, I home educate my daughter so most evenings are spent sorting out activities/worksheets for her, oh and coming on here lol.

Most weekends for me are drinking (social), eating, both cooking and eating out and going too see live music as I have a few friends who play locally in bands.
I also got one of my friends too try vaping and wants me to get her a kit.
I did go to see Oblivion this Saturday which was not too bad (7/10) but the watched Jack Reacher today which was even better (8/10).
Oh, and I planted 4 hanging baskets, potted up 12 runner beans, 6 french beans, 6 peas, 4 tumbling toms, 3 chilli plants.
I also spend a lot of my spare time doing housework.

That sounds good Des, Great to see mates doing something like that , I go regular with a friend who sings on the circuit and I never get bored of listening to the stuff he sings ( very varied from 1950s to up to date stuff ) always gets a good response, and on the plus side I get to go all over the place.

Housework No no no, I have thought about growing some upside down tom's though, tried the chilli plants last yr but without much success so not going to try it again, grown some tobacco plants 2 yrs ago, that was good.

Well I like a nice clean/tidy house and so does my GF so before she comes round i'm always hoovering and dusting, I do draw the line at ironing though, so I have a little Thai woman that does mine. The seedlings are for my allotment, but the chillies will be potted and kept at home on a bright windowsill, last year was a complete washout even the "old boys" down the allotment had a nightmare year with all the rain which killed many of my plants and don't talk to me about the plague of slugs!

Don't get out much during the week as I tend to get the lions share of working the late shift, but if I do manage to get out a bit early I scuttle of to the pub for a pint and a chinwag. Being a season ticket holder, I suppose most of my social activity revolves around the football match. I work most Saturday evenings and every other Sunday too, so spare time is at a bit of a premium for me. I've been thinking of going to see that, definately going to go see the new Star Trek when it's released next week Edit No. the week after next. Oh Bollocks! I'll be on lates that week
