I hope we can get a few more Cumbrian vapers interested in turning up to this mini meet,where are you all hiding?
I have a couple of suitable venues which are vaping friendly and you are assured a warm welcome,some nice food and a great atmosphere.It would be lovely to catch up and compare notes,setups and just have a great day out.

A Saturday would probably be best for me although I will be off work on Friday 7th June

Yep! Either keen or stupid!! Six years down the line and I've not quite decided myself yet!!


And if I tell you that I also am a leader at Brownies on Wednesday's I think that would probably tip the balance more toward stupid!!

Saturday the 8th of June is perfect for me also.I have the perfect venue lined up called the Apple Tree in carlisle,just a stones throw from the bus station,vaping friendly and it has just been refurbished and serves some lovely food to.
My eldest daughter goes to brownies in Thursby on a friday and i have another that goes to rainbows aswell,lol.It's all go in my house having three girls doing so many activities,they get a better social life than me

What's a social life???   ???   

(Only go out 'socialising' to brownies or guides!!)


I've got three children too, only got into the girl guiding lark because of my two daughters!! My son was never interested in joining Scouts and it's probably just as well or I'd more than likely be involved with that too.

I tell you what Di,to have three kids and take on all that extra work you must have the patience of a saint :)I refuse to give up on my social life totally,if i'm lucky i may get out to the pubs and clubs once every couple of months.
Oh well,i wouldn't have it any other way to be honest,as long as the girls are happy i am aswell.
Anyway,Carlisle vapers???Come on don't be shy *waving*If you are lurking and would like to attend the mini meet then you are all more than welcome to come along.

I'm sure that none of us bite (well .... I confess I do munch on Brownies .... but only the chocolate type   )

A set date,time and venue will be announced by the end of next week,hopefully a few nice treats can be arranged aswell for the day so watch this space for more details

Sorry for the delay here folks.I've had a few pubs say yes and then phone me back and change the answer to no regarding vaping in a number of pubs.
I'm finally in talks with a sensible lot of people in a vaping friendly pub so expect to have a venue sorted by tomorrow.
I will update with the full address details,time and date tomorrow.
I tell you what,it's been harder to sort out than i ever imagined

Keep going and after the first time you will know what works and more importantly what dont. Are they all right for selling on there premises? That is often the sticky point as the rules change when you want to trade. A private room is often best but that will incur a charge normally, but you are doing great as a first time event organiser.

Thanks alot Ash,trying my best anyway :DYou are very rite mate,none of them seem to allow sales on the premises,including this venue i am talking with unfortunately.
Please still come along though mate?I will be wanting a couple of tanks off you for sure and i'm sure we could have a mini car boot sale on the car park
It will be lovely to meet you all and i will keep looking for better venues for the future,atleast this is a start and hasn't gone all wrong like most of my ideas do
