Nope you won't need it, just plug your xbox into the spare develo box (best part is you can put that box in any room as it just plugs into any plug mains) and the other develo main box you plug next to your router and run the cable from your router into that box.

The electricity wiring in your home carries the signal.

So it's like this

Router Connects too Box 1, Box 1 sends signal to Box 2, Box 2 sends signal to Xbox....happy days.

Thanks for that Romelee, I have had a brief read but not very good with techie jargon. When I have a mo I will read it properly. Just a quick question from what I have read so far....do I need to use cd on the computer? As its for xbox is one into the hub and one into the xbox enough....sorry if that's a THICK question

Been awhile since i set mine up but i don't think i needed the CD, i just connected them all up and they worked great.

If you need to install the CD then just plug the router into your p.c and install the CD, i can only imaging that the software will try and get info from your router.

To be honest i cannot see why they won't work without the CD.

p.s The CD will not have anything to do with the Xbox.

Thank you Romelee, it arrived today and within 5 minutes tops it was up and running. Can't believe how good they are.
What a forum this is, if you need to know absolutely anything...someone will have the answer!!!! Who said smokers are idiots? ( ex smokers in our case )
Hubby streams live football from his laptop to tv, presume this might help that if stream is not great? Anyway I digress, thank you again Romelee, your a star.

if you get xbox live points think its 1600 one you get minecraft for free,seems everyone is raging about it,not my sort of game ,to ungraphically intense lol it looks like an old sega game using lego,have friends from 12 -50+ addicted to it,even my daughter is

Yes Andy it was 1600 points. He came to stay for the weekend with one of my other Grandsons, kept them amused for hours. Not sure what the attraction is but they love it. Still I'm happy, rather see them playing that than chopping Zombies heads off etc.!!!!
