been mixing since week 4 rom manly because cant get shit cheep in Portugal arrrr (not yet) hmm i feel a new enterprise coming on when i return from France anyway
by the time i add p and p + the 5 day min delivery + steeping time god dam i run out to often
i started with ready mix then added pg and vg to make it last longer and so i ust to get high nic content then the flavor dropped to much so round the super markets and found some cake making things great but they all taste like candy floss aha they all have something in them cant remember what but hey nice candyfloss flavor lol kept me going until supplies arrived

I've tried my hand at mixing, but so far everything has tasted like c**p. I've been getting my home brews from @ashmal and am 100% happy to do that. I haven't had a bad juice from him, and can't see it ever happening, everything he mixes is quality.

What's going wrong for you then Mono? Wrong percentages, flavours not to your taste . . . not left long enough to steep? Heart not in it?

I've discussed it with Ash great length. I have this odd taste, that I posted about a few weeks ago, coming to the forefront of everything. It HAS to be either my Nic, PG , VG , or in the Capella flavourings. What I need to do is make up some trial mixes of;

Just VG diluted down so it's wickable.
Just PG
NIC diluted

Just to see if I can find what's giving the taste.

My Nic is the 54mg Diamond Crystal (LT Ecigs)
VG from Boots
PG from the eBay vendor (based in Purfleet) that lots of others have bought from too.

TBH I'm at the stage of giving up, and spending my cash on a couple of bulk Hangsen buys from Zainy and some better quality mechanicals.

AND keeping @ashmal busy I can easily collect from him and he makes a very drinkable cup of coffee to boot

I have to admit, I am more 'into' the electronics side of vaping, and have some other projects I need to put the spare time I have towards.

Odd one Mono . . . if you've discussed it at length with Ash, there's not much I can say. Sounds like a plan to try out those plain options to see if you can narrow it down.

If Ash's mixes work for you, then stick with that. Mixing isn't for everyone . . . pretty much like everything else vaping related, what suits one doesn't another.

What water are you using to dilute the VG, I would suspect it 1st.

on the subject of mixing ish
my fav flavor has ended up at the moment
coffee 10% originally from somewhere but now i make my own
cappuccino 5%
chocolate 5%
cream 2%

the only prob im having is it ust to be great on the ego with v3 clearo 2.4 ohm head
now i run it in the aga t with ss wick and taste is completely different
even more now its on the vamo
new flat kanthal coil at 1.9 ohms and running in wats for the first time
the taste just is not there
and it burns so easy anything over 4 wats think my fave juice is destined to live it life in a v3 clearo

ps i can drip in the atty 1.5 ohm on ego so 3.4 volts and i can taste the coffee big time
so some thing wrong with the ss wick maybe its to thick not sure
ppps change mix from 70/30 to 50/50 because im still getting spots all over my back and want to see if its pg or vg related .think they have got worse so will try 80/20 maybe its the vg giving me the spots

Dessert/sweet type flavours don't work for me on a Genesis atomiser Punisher . . . so I only use Silica/FG/Ekowool now as those are the type of flavours I vape all the time.

Nope, not for me, may save a few pennies but I love my cocomel and griz takes all the hassle out of the process for me. I can and have made a decent cocomel of my own but I have enough vaping crap laying about in here without adding all the mixing gear to it. If griz ever stops making it though then forget everything I just typed

im so dum just proof read my post and realized i never thinned it out dropped 0.3mm of water (a guess) into 2 mm or juice topped off the aga and its wicking fine at 6 wats grrrr

still i think your right this type of flavor is not for the aga

Haven't been diluting it, as I mix to 70/30 . I was only going to dilute so it's wickable.

I have around 100ml of various juices to work through at the moment after going through a mega juice buy over the last couple of weeks but will be starting to mix my own in a month or two.

It looks a bit tricky with alot of stuff to take in but there are loads of threads on mixing in here so i have plenty of time to study and try and take it all in.
