Greigster I think you copied my numbers down the wrong way round. It should be: 15% Delux French Vanilla 10% Capella VC 5% DdL 5% Ethyl Malto Unusually I got the percentages correct then Oneday . . . though I used TPA's Sucralose so have cut that back a bit as it's sweeter than EM . Steeping away nicely it is.

There is only one VC for me, and that's Grant's. I was never a fan of custards before trying it, now it seems to be my go to vape.

I tried a few custards and didn't really like any of them - even though most did taste custardy - and only tried Grant's as everyone was banging on about how good it was. For me it has exactly the right amount of taste and throat hit I desire. None of the others did. I do accept that while, for instance, I don't like menthols there's likely to be a menthol out there somewhere that I'd love. I just can't be bothered spending the time and (mainly) the expense of trying them all to find it. I'm mostly a tobacco bloke anyway

The great thing about mixing your own is that you can adjust the taste to suite yourself and of course it is more effort but when you find the taste that you love, it is so easy to repeat the mix for a lot less money. You have found the custard that you like as an all day vape and we as mixers have done the same but without having to rely on one supplier or if their site is up and running or down on the day that we are getting low on supplies I have tried many makes of custard including Grants and Pixie Juice and I think personally, my own mixed VC beats them both.

Heads down folks, this could get messy!! nemo - FWIW, I agree, if you are happy, then that's cool. Don't discount mixing though, at some point in the future you may want to give it a try, and save a whole lot of cash. For what you pay for 50ml of GVC, you could make 150ml of your own - serious savings! Andy

If Nemo likes GVC and is happy to pay for it then there's no problem. I have used nothing but Grants for 6mths and still happy to do so even though I am about to start mixing my own. I might try doing a custard at some point, but, I am a very loyal person and Grant has been very very good to me over the time I have been a regular customer. On top of some of the good things he does for me, he even sends out my orders before I have paid for it!

At this point though I'm happy enough with the relatively few juices I tend to stick with. After trying a hell of a lot that weren't for me I've settled on HOL's Guevara as an all day vape, with Puros and GVC as inbetweens. I'll still try others if recommended, but not in the feeding frenzy way I started off with. Being as I smoked the same tasting fags for decades, I'm OK with just a few for now.
