Although a plastic sealed bag would keep the liquid form soaking my pocket, it won't offer much protection.

I am after something more like the Tube type holder i made for holding my Riva/Evod's at work as they get battered about the place for 12hrs.

You could always go for something like this:

There are many other possible small plastic containers - I got some juice in a bottle that would work, but most of them are too narrow in the neck.
