I would go for a couple keychain ego 350mah and lots of disposable ce4s (pack of 6 from fasttec) The smaller size battery will weigh less so should be less susceptible to fall damage and because disposable ce4s are sealed, they shouldn't break that easy either.

Jason's Joytech eGo C's are certainly genuine Joytech ones. I didn't think you meant those when you said "Riva like". If he has destroyed those, there is no hope !

There is no hope for him lol. You won't believe the amount of stuff he has broken over the years. I think the worst was when he was removing a long kitchen cupboard door, dropped it and it fell on my inherited Waterford crystal vase.

The mod on the picture is a bit big Blownupdolly but it is possible to get much smaller sealed metal box mods - I know of someone who makes them if you are interested

It is made for rough work conditions and he tests them by dropping them on concrete floors and kicking them through puddles
I still think this sounds ideal for your OH!
