After reading Spikeys thread about bottles, it just dawned on me all I have are the used ones I have saved from buying juices. My kit will be here either today or tomorrow. I don't want to wait to get them so does anyone know of any high street shops that sell them so I can get them today?

I only ever use bottles that have previously had pre-made juice in after first washing them thoroughly and leaving to dry. You just have to be careful when using bottles that have previously had menthol and the like, in them.

Thanks guys. I thought I had six or seven bottles but when I checked just now, I can only find three. Is menthol the only juice flavour that's hard to get rid of when washing?

Some strong coffees can be a bit stubborn too but most thins will shift with a good washing. Bottles are easier to clear than atties as there's no wick to soak up and hold flavour

Pear Drops is a hard one to wash out... there will be others..... I would say the acidic ones and cinnamon ones also.

Menthol and mint type flavours are the worst ones for tainting the new juices. You have probably come across similar problems if you have washed and dry burned wick/coils and cleaned a tank in the past, where the flavour of a previous juice can still taint your new juice, so that might give you an idea of the juices you use and how they can effect a new juice even after cleaning.
Boots prescription counter sell glass dropper bottles.......I think they are about £1.30 each for a 30ml. size

Thank you all. Well, it turns out I have not used any of those flavours, but I could well try some when I know what I am doing.will mark the bottles so I can keep them apart from the others.
Still no answer about high street shops selling them? I thought maybe Boots chemist? Will give them a call later if my kit arrives today. Frogster, I don't suppose you remember what time of day the shipments went out do you? If it was later in the day I doubt it be be here in today's post.

On the subject of recycling bottles, are they OK to go in the dishwasher? Or do you just rinse them out in hot soapy water or similar?

Never tried the dishwasher, may throw the bottles all over the place. You would probably have to use at low temperature.
I just wash mine in hot water with some washing up liquid and leave to soak for a while then rinse with clean hot water.

My dishwasher has died, but maybe if you placed them in the cutlery holder they would be ok? I am pretty sure the bottles I get from Grant for the custard would be fine as the plastic is quite thick and hard like pack lunch boxes
