Hello peeps, the delrin that cases the centre pin on top of the draw tube has lost it's grip on the firing pin and the delrin threads are going/gone does anyone know a good fix or where to get a new delrin for the top cap. Thanks all.

Wrapping the the firing pin with PTFE tape should help to hold it in the short term, replacing with a slightly larger threaded screw as a replacement.

Hi Taz.
If the inner threads where the brass pin screws in are worn, try the Mono fix.
If its the outer threads on the delrin bush that`s worn, take it out from the top cap, smear a very thin layer of "NO NAILS" adhesive, screw it back into the top cap and allow to set.
I had the worn outer threads and the "NO NAILS" solved this problem. But it is only a temp fix, so far has lasted over 7 days.(fingers crossed) it lasts long enough for me to sort out a new bushing perm fix.
Taz, make sure when screwing the brass pin too connect with the atty, you only need the pin to lightly touch the atty, don`t over screw it, thats what caused the problem in the first place. Gently, gently is the best advice I can give you. Good luck.

If the outer threads are worn I wouldn't worry about it, just works like a floating centre pin that way

I've trolled the web for replacing the delrin on the DT but no luck I think you'll be very lucky to find just a spare for that part. You could try a stack of small o-rings on the screw, enough to hold it in place. Personally I would go for a tab of glue to hold it in the top cap and wrap the original screw with PTFE as I suggested above. it won't be pretty, but who looks at the inside
