Hi thanks you all for the replys! I decided to go with the riva kit and recieved it in the post today. I brought a few different samples of the liquids. I've started using the clearomiser and was wondering how often do I need to clean it? Can I leave it full over night? And how low can I let it get before refilling it? I didn't get any instructions with the kit so I'm a bit lost to be honest. Thanks again

Ben, I'm not an expert on clearomisers as I still prefer cartomiser. However, I can tell you there is no problem leaving it full overnight

I only clean mine if I want to switch to a new flavour. But maybe I'm just grubby

And yes, you can leave full overnight. It shouldn't leak, if its working properly.

Try not to let it get really low on liquid. I've read that they should be refilled when they get down to about 10% of capacity.

Nothing grubby about refilling.....not unless you are switching from edam and bacon flavour to vanilla choc-nut-tastic.

I fill CE5s and V3s closer to 50% t.b.h.

I clean mine if i'm changing flavours, other than that I just top them up. I try not to let them get below 0.2 ml but I love clearomisers, there's just no fuss to them, rolling cigs was more fuss than using this.

I clean mine out every weekend, and usually fill when there's about 5mm of juice left when stood upright. You can even fill with another flavour juice and just vape through the mix of tastes until the new juice takes over.
Some juices, especially coffee, chocolate and most of all menthol and mint flavours are very tenacious, and you really need to set aside a (green!?) clearo just for menthols and mints - that way they won't taint other more delicate flavours.
Keep asking away, that's how we all learnt!

I agree with Andy. I have a colour coded system for evod clearomisers, which means I can just chuck some new liquid in the correct "type".
I used Silver for Menthol, but that one bust, so it's now blue. I would like a green one!

My two mini novas have a permanent juice in. One Grants Vanilla Custard, the other Citrus Spring. Can't get them mixed up.....(??)

Maybe the v3 rebuildable ones at 2.4 ohms, i'd only get two at most till you know if you get on with them.

Basically, the lower the ohms (coil resistance) the hotter it gets and the better it vapes.

I'd agree with the V3 rebuildable as you can change the head - oh and also the plastic tank if you drop it lol

I also have The Riva 1100 and was advised to use the 2.4ohm head as the bigger battery may pop the 1.8

I must admit I'm a devotee to the clearos as they are so much easier to fill and you can see how much juice you have left. I clean mine when I change flavours or with my Cherry one about once a week,

There are a lot of good vids on this forum about cleaning clearos etc just take a few mins to have a look around the forum.

I've only been Vaping for 3 months but the people on here are great and have been brill when i have need a bit of help
