I like my t3, the vaping experience improved tremendously when I recoiled it at 1.8 ohms. It's all horses for courses, all depends on personal experience. Reading the threads it seems that there's always somebody who thinks something is great and somebody else who thinks it is "not very good"

DiscoDes, I use the Riva 1100 at present.. would love to try a VV (maybe a lavatube?) but not until I've worn out the riva batteries.. When you you have a fixed output device a way of changing the vape is to vary something else. In your case an easy way to do this is to use different resistance heads, the lower the resistance the more power can flow through a coil. That is why I said to try a lower resistance coil, the coil will run hotter, giving more vapor and more throat hit.

ah ok!
well i think the heads are 2.5 ohms as i'd read elsewhere that is about right for the riva's output... will have to get a low resistance head ordered and see how it fares..
had about enough of it at present!! leaks, next to no vapour... expected much more i have to be honest!!!
will teach me to research a bit more deeply in future!!!

They are well known for leaking when they get to about 1ml of fluid left, keep it full In my experience they produced vapour, it just wasn't "satisfying" vapour, whatever that means lol. A lower ohm head helps, but only a little

There is a big difference between even 1.8 ohms and 2.4 ohms heads, as in 2 watts.
I love the evod and the first batch I got were 1.8s. ordered some new ones, and unknown to me they were 2 point "something". I need to put them on a VV device - mostly my Lavatube.
A new vaper on another forum has been writing up rather "disappointing" reviews about certain well-loved clearos being a little bit crap. I'm staying out of it, but vaping medium or high resistance heads on low power batteries (i.e. 3.3 volts and downwards....) is not good for flavour or vapour.
However, a fresh Riva with a 2.4 should be OK, I'd have thought.... ???
I enjoyed my T3s for a while. I can't think I used them on anything other than a Riva, as that's what I started with.

Good morning! I was going to put this in the review section, but I wasn't sure if it would live up to the high quality set by other members.. Anyway..as promised, my new flavours and clearomisers turned up this morning from www.health-e-vape.co.ukBoy it's been worth the wait!!!! I will start with what I have received, and go from there... Flavours; (all from the Pure Perfection range)RY4 Gold (24mg, 70/30 mix, normal flavour and throat hit) Apple pie & Custard (24mg, 70/30 mix, extra flavour, normal throat hit) Ruyan Supreme Gold Label. (18mg, 70/30 mix, normal flavour and throat hit) Clearomisers;Kanger EVO-D Innokin iClear 16 After a quick chat with Callum, he advised me to put the RY4 Gold in the EVO-D, and the Apple Pie & Custard in the iClear. Loaded them up, and left them to sit for 10 minutes to allow the coils to soak a bit of liquid up. Apple pie - Flavour is unreal!!! Can taste each of the three elements, and vapour is brilliant! Not sure how flavoursome it would be at normal levels of flavour though.. RY4 Gold - The only RY4 I had tried previously up to now was the Hangsen from Vape Escape upon a recommendation from a friend. This Gold version is definitely smoother and more flavoursome.. Just the right amount of caramel! Again, masses of vapour too! Ruyan Supreme - This is the only one I'm not too sure about.. I've had a look at the website, but cannot seem to find this flavour listed. With no expectations of what to expect, I filled up my T3 (not leaking anymore!), and had a quick vape.. The only thing that I can relate it to is B&H cancer sticks flavour wise. This flavour gives a reasonable amount of vapour which surprised me after my previous experience with the T3 using other flavours, but throat hit is minimal.. How much of this is to do with the T3 I'm not so sure... I'm going to be trying it in my V2 clearo that came with my riva to see what differences a clearo makes.. Will update this when I have done so. Big thanks go to Callum for sorting me out, can't wait to try more flavours!!!

If you're liking the RY4 give Vermillion River KY4 a try. It tastes just like caramel popcorn.

If you're liking the RY4 give Vermillion River KY4 a try. It tastes just like caramel popcorn. Mine tastes like digestive biscuits. I let it steep (in the bottle, not open-top) for 2 months, and it's really quite pleasant.
