Riva 1100 with Kanger T3

Hi everyone

Whilst I wait for my new juices to arrive, I've filled my T3 clearomiser with a menthol liquid that Kbee kindly gave me to see me through, but I'm having issues with getting a decent throat hit..

I've been doing a bit of research online, and have added an extra amount of wick to the base plate which has improved it slightly, but it still isn't a patch on the throat hit and flavour I can get out of the cartomisers supplied with my Riva...

I've also stuck a piece of tape over two of the air holes on the knurled section, but I'm still having to suck it like a dyson to get anything!

Is there anything else I can do at all?

I gave away my T3s because they just don't "do it" for me. Some people love them, but if you are feeling the way you are feeling about it, then I suspect you will never be one of them I am a big fan of the iClear16s but I never see anyone else raving about them on forums. The evods are very popular, and for good reason, but for me the "feel" isn't as good as the iClears. You could try a mini nova, hubby uses them and he is really big on throat hit

As for improving the T3 ........ mine improved drastically when I stopped using them

I found if you yank out the wick and replace it with cotton instead, it works much better, i have 2 I've done like this and they're great

where do I get the cotton from?

Order some evods and keep the t3's as spare.

Im guessing he is on about cotton from cotton wool pads etc.

The T3's were the worst purchase I made in my vaping experience I'm afraid. I'd seriously recommend investing in another clearo before you lose all faith in vaping!

I'd also recommend the Evods, I am sold on them after using the Mini Vivi Nova's which I thought were good and I've been vaping for 3 and a half years so I have tried LOADS , if you want throat hit go for the 1.8 ohm coil, this will produce a warmer vape.

What E-cig are you using?

I've been in touch with the company who's dealing with my order and they've been kind enough to substitute the t3 out..

I now have an evod and an i3 winging their way to me

DiscoDes, I use the Riva 1100 at present.. would love to try a VV (maybe a lavatube?) but not until I've worn out the riva batteries..

got ry4 gold as main vape, and applepie and custard for when I get bored of the ry4..

He guesses right, I nick them from my wife's make-up remover pads.

I prefer my T3 to my Evod, but I'm still pretty sure mine needs work, as everyone else here loves them.
Also, my 3 quid nova from fasttech is now really very good, so cheapness continues.

hmmm, she don't have any of them...

uses wet wipes or cotton wool balls...

could i use the balls? if so, how?

I would like to keep the one i have as a backup.. just need it to work properly!!

Right, I looked on you tube about making wicks out of cotton wool balls..

did it just as was described, and thought all was good.

left it to soak for an hour as advised, went to try it and it leaked 2ml of liquid in a matter of seconds..to hell with it! I've hqd enough!

I'll use my v2 until my new ones arrive in the morning

Just buy some wool for like a quid at any supermarket
