Question about wattage on the evic......

Ok so i have just got some more vapology raspberry, my fave. Now i know this juice can take the watts on my vamo but the evic will only let me go up to 8.3 watts, why? and is there a way round it?

It is in a vivi nova with a 1.8ohm head.

What version of the software is on the evic as it should go all the way to 11 even(doh)

With that 1.8ohm head fitted it should go upto 5v and 11w...i have a 2.2ohm and reach 5v and 11w ???

No idea mate, stick it on VV and see if it will go above 3.9V It should go up to about 4.5V

To save going in to the menus to change simply twist the adjuster ring to the right and hold it there, it will then cycle through the modes

Yep goes up to 5 volts but wont go over 8.3 watts

does it vape any better on 5v than 8.3W?

just done the sums, it shouldnt go higher than 4.44 V if it is limiting to 11 watts

Ok so with no atty on it goes all the way to 11, just put the nova back on and it is coming up as 2.5ohm despite it being a 1.8ohm straight out the nova box so guessing it is because of that.

Ok it must be because i get a slightly different reading on the ohms and each time i put the nova on and then get a different max watts. Have not got anything to hand that is lower ohms to try.

Just checked with a 1.5 and it goes to 11w

Ok so on vivi nova i am getting a constant 2.4ohms now and max watts is 10.4.

My mini nova is showing 2.8ohms and max watts is 8.9.

My vision v3 is showing 2.3ohms and max watts is 10.8

Need to make sure my coils come in at low ohms then to get to 11 watts.

Anyway round this though?

That will be 4V at 2.7 amps
