Big Changes At ECCA - New Committee Move Forward

ECCA would like to announce the resignation of Chris Price as Secretary of the association. After two years dedication, he feels he has completed his period of useful service and ECCA is now in a position to move ahead without him. This will leave him free to pursue his desire to become a member of the industry and, we hope, a voice of advocacy in these difficult times.

We are very grateful for the work he has done and what he has achieved in his tenure as Secretary with the limited time, resources and manpower available to him. At this juncture, we feel we can part company and ECCA can move forward with recruiting committee members and become a strong voice for consumers with a new team at the helm. We are looking for support from you, the community, to do this.

ECCA now requires a new Secretary and Chairman and is asking that anyone who feels they can fulfill these roles visit the forum and put their names forward. Indeed, if you feel there is anything you can contribute to the organisation as a whole, we would welcome hearing from you.

As this market continues to grow it becomes more and more important that there is a central source for information and support. We have many ideas of how to bring this to fruition and will relaunch ourselves shortly with a new face, a new website and a fresh statement of our intent.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience in this transitional period and also to wish Chris the best of luck in whatever new venture he chooses to undertake next.
