Found that info... Guy by the name of Rob Walker (Vapour Generation) he has a stall at St Nic's Market every Friday and Saturday apparently, his website may be found here ... Small world huh  You'll probably see me wondering around yate shopping center vaping my little heart out. Seriously thinking about opening a vape shop over there probably just a pipe dream but i may well make some enquiries about rents, lets be fair theres plenty of empty shops over there |

Rents and rates aren't inexpensive, though the SC Management are keen to fill all those empty units, so you may get a deal.  They've offered a couple of existing retailers a 40% reduction on their rent if they stay . . . . Coincidentally . . . I'm in Yate as well. I haven't got a Bronze one Ros.  |

I read elsewhere this morning that they recently put all their rents up which is why a lot of people have moved out. I'd think about a stall over there but I don't like the cold these days  . Still gonna make some enquiries though and see what the numbers stack up like, I need to do a whole lot of research first though, find suppliers, get someone to do a website etc. I only got a limited starting capital and don't want to go down the startup loans route but I may well just do it if it looks viable, assuming I can talk the other half round of course |

A lot of the rents were due for renewal . . . Millets were going to close, but it looks like they accepted the 40% reduction instead. It's expensive for the SC to have empty units as they still have to pay Business Rates on them, albeit at a reduced rate. But it's still £15,000 a year for an empty shop. I guess with M&S on the way, they feel they could ask more. A stall would be a brilliant idea though, just need to get a supply of thermals in! |
