Tonight I was using an old clearo that I'd washed and left to dry, dry burned and was working ok but a little leaky. Filled my Bauway CE4+ and attached - nothing. Swapped for a CE4 that I know works and still nothing. Put the CE4+ on another battery and still nothing. Put different clearo on 2nd battery and no problem.
Long story short the CE4+ and battery no.1 seem to be both buggered.
Any ideas?

Change the battery? Try taking the bat out and put it back in?

If the light comes on then maybe the centre pin has dropped on the battery, take a little screwdriver or similar and gently lift it up, hope that helps!

Or muckyboy it sounds like the leaky CE4 should be binned & that some juice has gone into the batt. I had the same happen to my Twist but after using a Bauway CE4 with it on a lanyard. Don't throw the batt out, clean the connection well & then leave it somewhere propped up on it's connection end & forget about it for a while. I say this, as after this happened, I didn't have the heart to throw my twist out, even though I had tried everything, but it was dead. Put it in my pot upside down, after about a month, thought about chucking it out but decided to just try it on the charger again first & it worked. I now have my twist back & working well.

Thanks for the advice jess -I'll try that as I'd say you are right. I had tried lifting the pin as instructed but that didn't help. I reckon the old CE4 dumped a load of juice into the battery without me knowing. Needless to say it is now in the bin!!
