Thats one of lifes mysterys can be anything from 1 week to 3months but it helps to rotate them keeps the life of them going a bit longer.

I found the potcheen doesn't help either.

I love the Irish! Where are you from Irish Queen? I have links with those strange Presbyterians in the 'Narth' (Carrickfergus; I was married there to a crazy Ulster woman - though admittedly it was my own behaviour that drove her that way - but I don't drink potcheen anymore ).

I can't really help with a recommendation since I'm new and hopefully all my gear arrives today; fingers crossed, touch wood, I'll be holding onto my lucky underwear and not stepping on cracks in the pavement.
