Aye and some of these will be committed vapers but just do not want to or have the time to join a forum and contribute.
Shame really because my own vaping has become so much more interesting and rewarding because I have joined AAE-C.

Not only is this a really good ecig forum, as forums go it is incredibly friendly and very few disputes. Mind you the whip helps there. But really very few arguments compared to some forums for other topics. I am a frequent, no correct that, used to be a regular poster on a Motorhome forum but honestly the arguments some get into over really silly things is unbelievable and this is generally older members. Enough of other forums, just wonderful here on AAEC the way so many really put themselves out to help others on all matters ecig or other and a lot of generous folks about as well.

Yes, I too am a member of a Camping Forum and as Brambles says, the arguments that go on there, if they weren't so amusing, could lead to world war 3.
However, it was through that forum that I learned about Vaping and consequently ended up here in AAE-C, so from that point of view, I have a lot to thank that forum for.

I have never understood why people want to get into arguments online, with people they don't know in RL. Really, what is the point? I love a good debate, even a heated one, but to descend into schoolyard antics and sometimes even bullying tactics is ridiculous amongst full grown adults. I have far more important things in my life to get het up about. Thankfully it is rare here and that's why I like it. Iam sure there probably a bit of malicious gossiping via pms as with everywhere else, but as long as I don't have to read it I don't much care. I think the fact we often meet up in RL also helps as it takes away the often false mental picture you form of a person. This is a positive forum, with helpful people. Long may it continue.

Forum aside, vaping in general has exploded in the past few weeks. When I bought my kit after much research 3/4 weeks ago, the only bricks&mortar seller near me I could find was rojeans in Liverpool. I went into town last week and there's stalls everywhere. not just cig-a-likes either. there's one woman selling egos and dekang exclusively....infact I think I annoyed her trying to engage in a geeky convo (or it might have been trying nearly every juice with no intention of buying. £7 for 10ml?!?!) When I met stamina the other day he made a great point: I wish I knew what I know now about vaping before I bought that starter kit. buying batteries, tanks and juices separately and from the right places would slash the cost for a starter by a huge amount. Having said that £40 for a 2 battery kit isn't exactly extortion and if it keeps shops like rojeans going where there's someone to pick the brains of, it's got to be a good thing. Whenever I meet a fellow vaper or try and convert someone I always point them here. I say the more the merrier, and it would be great if we could all try and boost the AAEC profile a bit more. Thanks for all the positive input on this thread, I rarely have time to post but appreciate all the feedback.

Thanks for all the positive input on this thread, I rarely have time to post but appreciate all the feedback. I do think in many ways you cannot compare the prices in a B&M shop against internet Vendors, there is nothing like "real life" when it comes to explaining how something works than actually showing someone, this takes time and if they are an employee then the owner has to pay wages. Also let's not forget the high costs of Business Rates, heat & light, insurance, fitting out a shop etc..... this all has to be paid for. Look at the "knowledge" that gets imparted at Vape meets. I spent a couple of hours in Cigg-E-Live in Canton, Cardiff a couple of weeks ago and ended up chatting to the owners and some of the people coming in off the street explaining how e-cigs worked and giving advice, they were also really impressed with my TZ Max. I got on so well that when it came to closing time and I stayed in the shop chatting and was even offered a coffee. I of course gave them the address for this forum. The owners Wife told me how the owner worked around 18 hours a day including Saturdays then spent all day Sunday doing Admin. We are spoiled by cheap prices from the great vendors we get on here and not to mention the prices we get from China! But we're not really comparing "eggs with eggs".

Hi Mods.
Any chance of a small template, so we can print our forum details, to hand out to peeps who are interested to try e-cigs.
I certainly would print them and spread the word.
Thanks for your consideration.
