Z-Max Telescope Problem....

Have started having a problem with my Z-Max.....On occasion, I press the button & nothing happens......The screen is blank & if I then press the button, no matter how many times, it stays blank & is not firing.....It's as if it's switched itself off & I can't switch it back on again. If I leave it for a minute or two & then press the button, it will, sometimes, fire up again....It's intermittent........The pin is up ok & clean....tried 3 or 4 different batteries & different atty's....It seems like either a bad button connection or similar........it gets warm at the top of the Mod, but not hot.......any ideas please?

Had the same problem with mine. I saw this posted on another forum somewhere, can't remember which one but they advised to remove the battery and re insert it and problem solved. The couple of times it's happened with mine this has solved the issue.

Thanks for that jibber..........Being the inquisitive bugger that I am though, I want to find out why it's actually happening.....Definitely sounds like a connection problem then.

I hear ya. The fact that this same issue is being discussed elsewhere too means that there is definitely a problem with some of these mods.
