Crikey! My Riva has arrived.... I filled my clearomiser with some of the caramel sampler juice I ordered and whoosh.... It's mighty strong and has me a little shakey haha..... I am using one of the batteries straight from delivery. Is this ok? and does anyone know how long I should leave the batteries on charge for their first full charge time? I have the spare charging now.. Thanks in advance...

Great news susie. Yeah thats fine to vape straight from the box as tgey come with some charge. The charger light will turn from red to green when it is charged.

Thanks Ros. I know it turns from red to green when it's charged but someone said the other day that you should leave it beyond that time and for something like 8 hours for it's first time charge?? I don't know how true this is though..

Not heard that bit about charging, but that aside the shaky bit will fade, it can be quite strong at first but your throat/body adjusts in no time

I've heard  talk about charging new batts for 8 hours, i tried it once and quite honestly it ain't made a jot of difference.  :DGlad your enjoying your new kit, it will be a lot different to your skycigs, throat hit, taste, vapour etc etc, and a heck of a lot better, have fun

The ego kits on fasttech states that on their instructions too. I only know this as a neighbour bought some ego kits from them.
I've never heard of it before until he pointed it out. Apparently when you charge them the first time, you should do it for 8 hours as this will give the battery more longevity. I am still in doubt whether that is true.

Thanks all you guys and yeah it's a lot stronger both throat hit and vape wise too.. Just out of curiosity (and also to know how much to buy) just how much juice should I be using per day?? (approx) considering I used to smoke around 30 monthol stinkies... I'v used about .2 in just over an hour lol

reckon on around 3 - 5ml a day, as it's new you'll probably chug on it a bit more than normal then gradually this will come down.

I used to smoke about 20 B&H a day, i vape about 2ml a day, don't know if that helps

There's no set limits of how much juice you should use as opposed to cigs smoked , just go with the flow, nic gets absorbed in a different way to smoking cigs, i usually have between approx 3ml a day, sometimes more, and i used to smoke approx 30 gross, smellies a day. Just have as much as you want/need. My workmate who i converted to ecigs, started off using 1ml a day, now he's on 4ml , we're all different.

I use about 5ml a day or 18mg, I was a 20 a day B&H smoker.

Susie from new my batteries have taken about 2 hours each to charge & someone said not to overcharge as the batteries can explode.
I used to smoke about 15 Regal per day & I use approx a full clearo per day which is 1.6 mil, when I go out on the lash I use about half as much extra than that, I fill mine each night before going to bed so the wicks have plenty of time to soak, & I read on here never to let clear's go lower than 0.8 then you won't get the burnt taste, 0.8 is about half way so when mine reach half I change the clearo over, this works ok for me so I'm happy with it
