Sellaman, what other flavours have you got to try? I've got Tobacco, Coffee, Tuti Fruti, Cola and Spearmint. Only the coffee tastes good but the other may taste better to me when I get a chance to give them another try. I've only been vaping for about a week. I still smoke analogues though. I have not cut down on them at all. A week ago, I ordered a whole bunch of flavors from Vaporite and I can't wait to try them. Most of the juices I ordered from Vaporite have nic in them and most of the juices they make are 100% VG.

I found that when I first started vaping that I liked the very high (about 24 mg) nic strength juice. They seemed to hit the spot over the weaker ones. Have you tried any high strength yet? If not, they may help you kick the analogues.

Well, the strongest strength nic that I ordered and expect to have soon is 18 nic. I was afraid to try any higher just in case it knocked my head off. Also I'm scared to physically handle stronger nic juices just in case I get the nic on my hands. Well, I hope the nic juices I ordered will help me quit the analogues.

Sellaman, no need to worry too much about getting it on your hands - just give them a wash if you do so.

I tried Chrissies Drum flavour and it was devine. I have no idea where she got it from, but it was just like the real Drum flavour. A little strong in the nic department, but I would really like to buy some in a lower strength, anything over 18mg and I fall over

No, it shouldn't be. But, that doesn't mean that it wouldn't taste stronger.
The amount of throat hit you experience is as much to do with the PG/VG ratio of the mix, as it is to the NIC content, if not more.

Also I'm scared to physically handle stronger nic juices just in case I get the nic on my hands. Well, I hope the nic juices I ordered will help me quit the analogues. Sellaman, I was just thinking that with you being in Australia this does make liquid supplies a bit more problematic, as buying a few small sizes this week to try out then bigger ones of any you decide you like NEXT week isn't quite so simple for you as it is for all of us. For members who may not be aware, the situation as I understand it is that the Aussie govt. helpfully outlawed the sale of liquids containing nicotine but not the actual e-cig hardware. As a result, although you can buy the kit from a local vendor without any problem it is necessary to personally import any liquid you require containing nicotine from abroad, which IS legal as long as it is for your personal use. As a result, I think I'd encourage you to stick to buying from liquid suppliers with a good reputation you have heard of as recommended through places like this. The last thing you need is to try and save some money by buying from somewhere cheap but with no 'track record' as it were, and then it either doesn't turn up or turns out to be truly ghastly. I definitely think there's a much better chance you will be able to reduce (or maybe even cut out) your analogue consumption with some nic in your liquid. I did also want to echo Chrissie's advice, there's no need to be scared stiff of nic liquid. Unless you do something seriously foolish like getting it ALL over your hands then failing to wash it off it really isn't going to hurt you. If you wanted to use some disposable gloves to start with until you've gained a little confidence, these would keep you perfectly safe. The amount you might get on your skin from just handling cartridges or a dribble around the top of a bottle isn't going to be enough to cause you harm. If you consider that you might possibly vape several ml during the course of a day once you get used to vaping, it may make more sense that a tiny smear on your skin isn't going to be dangerous to you. "18mg" equates to 1.8% nicotine so although really pure nicotine at 99%+ is lethally dangerous, the strength you will come across in most of the liquids you can buy simply isn't in the same league. Yes, DO treat it with respect and of course make sure children and animals can't get to it, but there's no need to be terrified of it. I did also want to thank you for the link to your artwork in your signature! For anyone who hasn't followed this yet, there are DOZENS and DOZENS of images. It is a huge body of work which must cover many years. While I didn't fall in love with every single one (but found some absolutely captivating!) there's just so much variety that there's a good chance most people would enjoy some of them - I certainly did. Highly recommended, and thanks once again.

Och you know what I did sellaman - as soon as I started vaping I stocked up on cheap handwash...glycol/glycerine on hands really isn't pleasant...
and that was in the days before I discovered drip tips and like big 1ml cartos LOL...so I'd literally fill about 6 510's/K808's an am. It went EVERYWHERE.......
My ratties (yes I have pet rats) have even been in the hall a few days after breaking a half full single coil everywhere...just shampooed the carpet and they were fine...
Hugs
Jo

I have had liquid on my hands constantly from day one - major cause is when fibre sticks to attie as you pull it off for a refill ,subsequently fingers are normally smeared in the stuff .Not sure if the liquid is dangerous but arr on the side that it isnt otherwise the warnings would be more severe .Is it any more dangerous than smoking fags because don't forget all the warnings on packets now about them being deadly
