Vamo Problem

My Vamo came yesterday and I used a Mini Vivi Nova with it. It only seemed to work when the Nova was twisted in a certain position and during use it seemed to be leaking a little and felt a little hot. However, besides these problems everything else seemed to be fine. I tried to use it today and it does not appear to be working. It is giving a reading of 9.9 ohms for all the Novas and Evods I have. Before I send it back to Vape Escape I am wondering if the problem is user error. Has anyone seen this problem before?

9.9 ohms shows that your atty's are not registering. Most common source of this is that the atty was overtightened and has pushed the centre pin down. turn the vamo off and with a small screwdriver go to the edge of the centrepin and gently lift it, go to the opposite side and do the same and then gently do it all arroend the pin. If this doesn't work then it's possible liquid leaked into the electrics. Hope this is of some help to you.

Hi Kailey.

I am assuming that your Nova`s and Evod`s are working perfectly on your other battery mods. If yes they work, I would suggest that your problem is most likely to be the centre post on the new Vamo.

Using a small screwdriver, tease the centre pin up, taking care to lift it all way around.Only needs come up a little bit.

Then screw on an Evod or Nova and check resistance using the right hand little button, which should give you ohms of that atty.

The reason I suggest this is you stated, when I screwed Nova in certain position it worked (doddgy centre pin fault).

Try my suggestion, but take "EXTRA CARE" in minute lifting of centre pin in the Vamo.

Thank you so much for your replies. I got hubby to do this and it now works. I still seem to have some problems with leaking with the Nova though so I'm going to try something else to use with it. Once again, thank you so much for all your help.

Don't know if the novas have a longer connection than normal but every time I use one on my vamo I need to prise the centre pin up again before anything else will work

my vamo is a pain it only works with around 2 out of the 5 different attys carto's clearo's ect it is now redundant i hardly use it

Maybe, Promark. The Nova seems to work on everything else but somehow I haven't had much success with it on the Vamo.

I am just about to make an order for a Protank and an iClear. Hopefully these will work better. I must be the first person to break their Vamo in the least amount of time.

Besides that small problem, I am loving the Vamo and I am so pleased it is working again.
