Hey everyone.
So I ordered my first mod earlier (v2 evic) and so I'm now looking at rebuildable tanks as the next purchase to get the best from it..
Question is, which ones are good for a newbie?
I see all these names floating about of different models but it seems to be such a minefield!!
I'm not looking to spend kayfun money (nearly had had a heart attack when I saw their rrp!), more like £20 tops each..
My only wants are that its as easy as possible to recoil, gives good flavour, and has a decent capacity for juice (3ml+)..
Too much to ask? Or is there such a product?
Thankyou!!

Hi dc84, i have an eVic but what's a v2 eVic? You will find it hard to get a 3ml+ tank that gives good flavour for 20 quid but this is probably your best bet www.vapegear.co.uk/product/rsst and here is a video from a trusted reviewer Pbursado about the smok RSST slightly more than your quoted £20 but worth it as it is a brilliant beginners atty

Hi there.
Thank you for the video. Will watch it in the morning.
I have heard of the RSST but thought it was comparable to the protank? I have three of those already lol
So what price point would I be looking at for a noticeable upgrade?
Seem to hear a lot about the aga's?
V2 evic.. its a re-release of the evic where instead of the control head being glued to the battery tube threads, they have secured it with two screws to make it more durable..
From what i gather, the original evics were suposedly recalled due to the glue not holding and so they have redesigned it slightly.. There may be other differences but I'm not sure.. apparently there are still vendors selling the original model, which if the head parts from the thread, will not be covered under warranty by Joyetech!

For your budget range you have 2 options
Stainless steel Dream (kayfun clone kinda) use silica. Charliesvapeshop stock them RSST (AC9 clone) uses mesh
Both work well. The Dream has a specific way of filling you need to follow and be aware of else you'll get leaks The RSST is a perfect mesh atty to start with. AGAs are good but if a beginner I would skip and go straight for the RSST
Also depends what flavour juice you use. Baccys are generally recommended to go in mesh devices

Not trying to sound trolly or anything but the rsst is in no way comparable/similar to the protank. Carry on

The dream can be quite heavy. I like the protank and evods. I'm thinking next rebuildable will be an rsst.... I like simple and easy

Hi GavsterI've been messing around with my rsst rbas since they arrived and I've come to the conclusion that if you're prepared to mess about with them, they give not only brilliant flavour, but also good hit and reasonable vapour.. When they first arrived, I wicked them both with oxidised 400 mesh and 4 wraps of kanthal 0.3x0.1 ribbon. I then tried 2mm flamed ekowool with a mesh sleeve. Then it was 2mm wire rope with a small mesh sleeve where the coils are wrapped. My last attempt is with 2mm rope with a full length mesh sleeve. (Only top 1cm is oxidised) I have rolled the top 1/3 to be quite tight to the rope but left the rest quite loose. Like a dress almost.. my aim was to get a bigger hit at the same voltage and it certainly worked! Inserted the wick into the top deck from underneath before assembly, built it all up. Wrapped 0.20 kanthal a1 to give 2.5ohms. Checked coils were all evenly glowing, filled tank, doused wick in juice, and lit it up.. This final setup is working the best by far.. I will note that I have drilled the airhole out to 1.5mm. With all of the other setups the draw was VERY airy.. good essence of flavour but not brilliant.. the last setup gives a very full flavour and similar vapour output to my protank. I also leave the airhole bung in place with no ill effects so far! Best setup I found for the protank was 1mm ekowool wick, 4 wraps of ribbon, 1mm ekowool flavour wick. I was happy with that.. I now only use the protank as a backup if my evods run out juice.. protank is great for what it is, but the rsst is better!! Both protanks are back in their boxes waiting to be cleaned and sold

i'd say go for the dream.... sweet build quality, easy to recoil yup you have to fill em a particular way but there are youtoob guides for that and it's quite easy, they work so well with a couple of small mods (todds reviews covers the mods and re-coils!) and are similar to the kayfun (buy the tank extension for 3ml capacity!) about £25 ish and way better that an rsst i know i have em both! (imo of course!)

Dream, A little fiddly to set up and fill, but such a good vape that I now have a couple of Kayfuns as a result of my initial Dream experiance!
