How much voltage should my vamo read a fully charged 18650 battery as?
Just taken a battery off mid-charge to see what the voltage read and it said 4.1, when I received the batteries they were 3.7, so what is fully charged?

Hi, Li ion battery used in consumer products, are normally set to cut off at 4.2V (circuit inside battery). This is to get more longevity out of the batteries. Proffesional Li ion use batteries may be set higher than this voltage. Read up a few basics from here, can ignore more techy stuff :- linkLi ion don't work like Ni MH, Ni Cad, more like lead-acid accumulator (Car Battery). So ignore a lot of old wives tales. Cheers BOB

dannyw14 most 18650's and 18350's read 4.1 v when put in a Vamo. Yes 4.2 v is fully charged but in practical application 4.1v is fine.

My 18350 batteries always read 4.2V when they're fully charged. Soon goes down though
