Hi all, thought i would post this here because of the experienced vapers/modders who use this area, but i am confused on protected batts for my new ehpro telescope or any mech mod for that matter, are the efest imr 18350 800mah protected batts and are they safe to use in a mech mod im asking because all the batts i see on the vendors site have a statement that imr are not protected, could someone point out the right batts for a mech mod for me please, i cant seem to get my head around it and im confused

There are so many batteries out there it does get confusing. I'm no expert but IMRs are not protected but do have safer chemistry making them less likely to go volcanic on you. I'm sure there will be someone along soon to point you in the right direction of a specific type to get. If you are worried you can also look at the vapesafe fuse

I haven't seen any IMR (Lithium Manganese) with protection yet..Got any links?
I would be surprised if there are any around though, because the idea of the IMR is not only safer chemistry but also high discharge, means a protection circuit will work against that..
