I tried two of my mixes today for the first time

The Pernod and blackcurrant was, as I suspected after talking on here last week, was too much blackcurrant and not enough aniseed so I have added a fair bit more and a couple of drops of sweetener too.

Second was my cherry pie and custard. VERY pleased with it! Problem is I only made 10ml and between me and Mr D its gone, but even worse I lost the recipe!!


I have a question. I am about to make up a new 30ml batch but want to make the custard bit a little richer. In the first batch I used Capella custard, but am wondering if it would be better using TPA French vanilla? I seem to remember reading it is more intense?
I am not sure what the pie crust flavouring added as I couldn't make out a taste, but I will add it just so I keep near enough to the original recipe.

Dolly in my custard mix I use Capella VC and TPA Deluxe French Vanilla together, makes it very creamy

Is this based on my cherry custard pie? If so, add about 5% tpa fv deluxe or some ddl ... and its tpa pie crust

Hmmm... I did think of using both Steve but worried it would over power the cherry. Not sure whether to go add a small squirt of Capella in it now...

Tpa black cherry, if that's what your using is quite strong. What percentage have you mixed?

Whole % of flavouring is 25%

FA black cherry 2.5ml
TPA French vanilla deluxe 3ml
Pie crust 2ml
6 drops sweetener
4 drops vape wizard

This was for a 30ml bottle

Without the custard flavour it wont be that custardy. I'd drop the pie crust a touch and mix the custard as Oneday suggests. The percentage you drop the pie crust by, add as vanilla

E.g.

1.5ml pie
2.5ml custard
.5ml vanilla

I thought the same as you, Dolly, and did the following tweaks:

TPA Black Cherry 2.4ml 72 Drops 8%
Cap VC 2.7ml 81 Drops 9%
TPA Pie Crust 1.8ml 54 Drops 6%
French Vanilla Deluxe 0.3ml 9 Drops 1%
Vape Wiz 6 drops 0ml 0 Drops 0%
Stevia 6 drops
Didn't make that much difference tbh! Still bloody yummy though, and what I'm currently vaping

I am so jealous as I have run out. Only just mixed new batch and I don't like to try until a few days of steeping at least.

Same here, but I always have my GVC too.
