Was browsing amazon and came across a page full of so called E-cigs, I read reviews and they got my attention so I decided to order a cheap starter kit just to see what all the fuss was about, I ended up with a product from e-health. The whole thing worked well enough but I found that the flavour wasn't very cigarette like, so I tried the mint flavour and found that to be quite a pleasant taste. After a couple of weeks I found that I had cut right down on the amount of real cigs that I was smoking, from 30-40 a day to around 6 or 7, something that I would have thought impossible before. It astounded me as I wasn't even trying to give up or cut down at all. That was enough for me to try one of the more expensive options and went with an advert for best4ecigs, what arrived was this rather bulky battery that disposable cartomisers were screwed in to. Brilliant I thought, no messing about with liquids or atomizers no leaking cartridges and I don't mind paying a little extra for simplicity, trouble was they tasted nasty, I gave up at that point until I was wandering through bexleyheath and came across a stall selling e-cigs and was invited to try one and bingo ! It was a battery and a disposable cartomiser system from billsyard.co.uk that tasted really pleasant, even the menthol tasted like it should so I forked out and stocked up. Problem I have now is that the cartomisers cost £9 for 5 and they last about a day and a half each with heavy use, searching the web I've found many cheaper cartomisers but would they will fit my battery's? you can't keep forking out for starter kits just to try them. So I started trawling through reviews and that's how I came across this site. A forum is always the best place to stay informed so here I am. That's My story in brief lol

Is that a DSE901? The threads on the battery look similar to the one Mike has here.

You can buy supplies a lot cheaper than you are getting them at the moment. There are also a lot of better kits around that give a much better overall experience. I'm sure Chrissie will help you out and point you in the right direction.
Welcome to All about by the way!

Okey Dokey, I've had a look at bilsyard's - looks like the battery has a male thread? So I'm guessing it's a dse901 battery. Most cartomisers sold tend to come with the 510 fitting - off to see what I can find you that would (hopefully) fit your battery. Edit - yep Collie, looks like a des901 or KR808D to me as well - mant to add the link to Billsyard to save folks searching for them - www.billsyard.co.uk/PURCHASE-ITEMS-HERE.htmlBlakey, I'm fairly certain these cartomisers will fit - (use discount code ECR69 for 15% off) www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=25

Blakey they tell you they may be telling you they are disposable but they aren't. You tube has loads of videos showing you how to do it, there are 3 main ways but I refill mine without any problems.

Lol, Chrissie me and you really need to stop crossing posts lol
Thanks for putting up the link Chrissie, I was going to go and look but there are too many videos of it on youtube lol. I don't use the condom method, I just pop off the rubber bung and drip directly onto the polyester wool.

Lol Collie, I also think I crossed posts with Blakey so he most likely missed my edit in post #5 with the link to Liberty Flights Kr808 cartos? Proboards are having angry bear problems again so it's taking ages to post
