Today is a bit of a rush, higher orders/emails than normal (yesterday was quiet), just grabbing a cuppa finally now, before hopefully getting a chance to go into the cleanroom to do some bottling.

We may be starting a busy period, then I imagine we're in deep doodoo if the MHRA get their way.

Yup, I feel bad for all the hard working vendors who are facing all this political interference in open trading.
I do hope all vendors get together to fight this be they ECITA members or not - otherwise things are gonna get bad.
The users need to keep bombarding the politicians too and show our support.

By the time the change to classification is made any base bought today will be out of date unless frozen under the right conditions and even then it's borderline. I'll panic buy late 2015 if there hasn't been. a succesfull legal challenge.

The UK Government will press for EU law to create a Europe-wide legal position on NCPs as medicines through the revision of the Tobacco Products Directive. The European Commission has said it expects the new legislation to be adopted in 2014 and for it to come into effect in the UK from 2016. From that point, all NCPs will require a medicine licence. This will allow time for manufacturers to ensure that their products meet the safety, quality and efficacy requirements of a medicine. Until that law is in place, the MHRA would encourage those manufacturers with unlicensed products currently on the market to apply for a medicine licence.

I needed some anyway as down to my last drips. With the news today think I will be placing an order every few months to stockpile and avoid the inevitable price increase when the panic buying sets in.
