I have trouble closing the battery cover on mine as the spring is so strong! Yup, my spring is very strong and you need to use a fair amount of force while trying to get the threads to catch. Yeah that's what I meant, lol. I'm annoyed as mine is virtually unusable in the car or van now, so I need to buy something else, because my provari is not getting put in the glove box in the door in the work van Still, that is a good excuse for the mrs

Ew er ?? That is weird! Mine has been going of for ages but for the life of me I couldn't work out why, just dropped it from about an inch of the top of the table and yes it went of. Its very annoying when out in the car or out in bright light as you can’t see the display. Using it all the time in 18350, so cant try another size battery

Lazy or what... I love it I bet that's why Super-Shiny loves his evic every puff is exactly the same duration down to a tenth of a second

I wrote to Joytech and asked them about it, this is their reply.
Thank you for your e-mail, An amount of pressure applied to the bottom of the eVic will momentarily disconnect the battery from the control head as the battery spring will loose connection. Please ensure you handle your eVic with care to prevent this from happening.

Bump (see what I did there?). Thanks for the info guys - my mini has been spazzing out today, jumping out of tc, auto turning off on first press, the whole enchilada. The fix was to try a couple of different batteries; my older Torchys (a year old or more) resulted in the evic having a mental fit, popped a much newer Torchy in and it's fine. How very odd.
