Ok, after enough research to render me a guru lol I decided that rather than use up my present system I'd jump in head first with something sensible, so I ordered a Riva 510. I'll worry about low res and cartomisers and all that later, reasoning, it had to be portable, last for a day and be compatible with other products allowing me to change/upgrade or obtain spares easily and most of all it doesn't seem as if it will make me look like I'm inhaling from a crack pipe lol, I hope I made a good choice. Thank you Crissie, that little Vid that you embedded played a big part, I found the guy's web site and watched loads of reviews. what I really want to know is which juice has a flavour as close to real English tasting cigarettes as possible ?, after all - all I'm trying to do here is replace real cigs with something healthier and cheaper. I'm not one for exotic sickly flavours and I really don't want to be smoking coffee flavour when its odds on that I will be drinking the real thing at the same time anyway! (by the gallon lol) The only other flavour I would be interested in is menthol. I'd like to thank all on here that welcomed me and for all your posts in other threads that aided my choosing, you seem a great bunch.

Blakey, the Riva 510 is an excellent choice. Didn't want to push it onto you straight away as wnted to ty & help you get your current kit up & running, but so pleased you have gone for the Riva Not tried James' Golden Virginia that Rochie linked to but do really like Paradise Vapes LNB paradisevapeuk.vstore.ca/product_info.php/pName/l-n-b/cName/ejuice-tobaccoHowever, you are never going to get anything that tastes exactly the same as burning tobacco.

Hi blakey (i'll have you Butler) - and welcome. I know what you mean regarding getting a flavour thats close to what you've been smoking. I used to smoke golen virginia roll ups. It worked well for me as a builder. As there isn't sooo much smoke with them and you can just leave it in your mouth as you lay bricks. The first liquid i ordered was ....golden virginia and i'm glad i did. It helped through the early weeks of changing over to vaping. It really isn't as desperate as other quitting methods. Your e cig really will cover the cravings as long as you have the right nic content to cover your cravings with a few strong vapes. Rather than go in too weak on nic content and have to vape frantically and a lot more to settle yourself.
Having said all this i started vaping to quit smoking. That is all. I have gone 8 weeks now. And i'm happy. Flavours and what i use to vape is all actually secondary to me. But then, i am happy with what i'm using. I will vape virtually anything just so long as it helps keep me from smoking. For that is all that really matters to me.

Samples is the way for sure, I'd just like to keep the amount of them to a minimum lol

Another popular flavour, which although not identical to tobacco flavour, is RY4. It has tobacco flavour with a nuance of vanilla and caramel. Very nice and one many have on hand when wanting a change. You may also find when your taste buds come back you may start to move away from the tobacco flavour, although I agree it is good to start on a tobacco taste when 1st converting. A good choice with the Riva they are a good all rounder and last most of the day, just make sure you carry spare batteries and atomisers as there is nothing worse than running dry and tempted to go back to an analogue. Ordered plenty of both Happy Vaping
