I only seem to get a week out of my clearos. After the first couple of weeks of vaping I had to go to the local town to get some more cos the one I got with my kit and then the spares I ordered only lasted me a week. I ended up going to a TW shop so am pretty confident they ain't cheapos, however after few days my menthol liquid again started turning a mucky brown colour and after just a week they are unusable without cleaning them out etc
Can anyone offer me any advise here as I was under the impression I should get at least two weeks from them? Am I drawing too much/too hard? Is the juice I am using not of the best quality?
Cheers for any advice
Mel

Does it only happen with the menthol liquid?

The thing with clearos are they are so hit and miss, some last weeks even months without any cleaning and some go pop after a few days. I used to wash and dry burn mine every 5 days but now we use the re buildable clearos we swap out the heads every few days and put the dirty one into steradent tablets overnight. Kind of like a constant round robin of soaking, drying, spares box and in the clearo.

The last two ones I have used were TW's VE3, me and daughter both bought one each about 2 weeks ago, when mine went yukky after one week I ended up stealing hers last weekend, now that one is the same .... I have only used menthol juice since I started vaping, it works for me so have stuck with it. That's why I am starting to think it is something I could be doing wrong .... perhaps the dry burning after cleaning them out, I didnt do that

Other option is to give them a soak in steradent overnight and then wash out and leave to dry, fill and go. A lot easier than dry burning but takes longer. If you do dry burn please make sure the wicks are completely dry from the wash out before you dry burn.

Juice does get darker once exposed to light, if your juice still tastes ok, i wouldn't worry about the change in colour mel

As Karma says - there's no problem at all with the juice turning dark. It happens with around 75% of liquids and is nothing to worry about

Get yourself some cheap denture cleaning tablets from tesco, leave the clearos to soak overnight. Then leave to dry for a couple of days. Don't worry about menthol changing colour as long as you get the menthol taste it will be fine.
I generally use my 5 clearos for about a week before cleaning and only dry burn once a month. I use mainly brauway ce4 clearos and just heard another 30 will be on their way very soon.
