I'd select the 1.8ohms . . . they're the heating elements in your cartomiser and are replaceable, so quite cost effective.

Clearomisers have wicks and are normally a tank like system of some sort, either a top or bottom heating coil. These are very often replaceable with the newer ones now on the market.

Cartomisers are normally tube like in design, the internal heating elements are surrounded by a wadding material, which holds your eliquid. The coils aren't replaceable on these, though you can get Cartomiser Tanks . . . but probably best not to stuff too much information down you at once Lal.

It can be ever so confusing when you're starting out and getting to grips with everything.

just my opinion, everyones different but I think clearomizers give a more satisfying vape than cartomizers & the mighty EVOD is the king of clearomizers

I started off with a cig-a-like (Liberro Realis) and the improvement when I got my ego batterys and EVOD was very impressive, haven't touched a tobacco ciggy since.

I'm not knocking cig-a-likes btw I still use my Realis quite alot when out about or working around the house, mowing the lawn etc
