Father Day.

Hope everybody had a good fathers day.  We live on through our children.


Don't have any kids that have been identified to me so nothing for me.

However I have been remembering my dear departed crazy old goat.

I got:

1 x Card from all the kids
1 x Terry Chocolate egg (that thing you crack open, didn't work for me though)
1 x Packet of Scotch eggs
1 x Chocolate cup cake
1 x Packet of crisps

and one very nicely drawn card from my second youngest saying "I will love you forever, happy fathers day"

Just got back from visiting my Dad, took him a mound of pressies,  he's 89 and sadly developed Alzheimers 2 years ago and is in a care home, am glad to say he still knows me, i still get that beaming smile and a hug and kiss from him. Anyway, i left him drinking a can of draught guinness, and having a piece of his Dads day cake, happy as larry, bless him.

I am ashamed to say my oldest (nearly 20, working & still living at home ) got me nothing..nada...sod all not even a Happy Fathers Day Dad from him
But he did come with his MVP ( that was mine ) and asked for clearo to be re-filled... Looked Bemused when I told him to go buy his own liquid !

I was spoilt by my OH and daughter today - two curry sauces to cook with (we do like our spicy food!) and some Hazelnut cafetiere coffee from my daughter, and a very nice bottle of single malt from my wife - one happy Dad!!
