Fantastic news lymmranger and spikus - glad you are both embracing the pleasure which is a Riva kit. Long may the vapour cloud your (improved) lives! Andy

Just returned from the shed (too hot to sleep) with a flat battery So my first battery lasted 2 full days (and a quick 5 minute vap just) cannot believe it - I am used to constant recharging seem to be using a lot less juice too (.............now where`s me charger?)

Brilliant news, that you love your device. I vape in my garage, never smoked in the house, don't feel like starting now. When it's horrific weather I still go outside to get to the garage, try and stop me;)

Have you charged it at all during the time you have had it?
I know the flashing means it needs a charge, happened to me on day two, so I just leave itbin for a charge up every now and again.

Both batteries were charged until the charger light went green before using them..... bat1 lasted 2 days (of good use) bat 2 has lasted from 8am til just before last post I am more concerned that bat1 is flashing so soon (it doesn't flash every vap probably every 3rd) I am aware these bats take a couple of charges to get to full potential but.............

Oh dear, above my limited knowledge I'm afraid. Someone in the know will soon see this and advise you. I can see why you are questioning the battery life time. I will follow the update on this as it might be something that happens to me in the future. As I say someone will be here soon, I'll lay money on it.

Length time of how long the battery will last also depends on what is fitted on top of it, If one battery has a low ohms fitted it will drain a lot faster than one fitted with high ohms.
That might explain why one has drained quicker than the other, if both batteries was fitted with the same ohms than that's strange.
Give them both a full charge and see how it goes.

I have only used one of the "supplied" cartomisers so far (same one ) I have also used one of my old 10motives cartomisers (again same one in both batteries) In other words both batteries have done the same thing with the same attachments

Just a random thought but doesn't the Riva have a cut off after however many seconds vaping, could it be that if it's only happening every so often? Or a faulty charger maybe...

lymmranger Give both of them another full charge and see how it goes, time each one with length of time lasted too see the difference between the two then post back with results.

Ok more info chaps........
battery1 did actually last 2 days again - it did repeatedly flash every 3rd or 4th vape but still worked ???
battery 2 inserted late yesterday, not flat yet but again flashes periodically
I am not unhappy just confused...........remember I got used to 10motives batteries that lasted an hour max so this is sooo much better
what I am trying to work out is if this is normal, is there something I am doing wrong etc
On the whole I love this machine and am very very happy but is this behaviour normal?

How long is each vape? Some have a 10 second cut off - hence the flashing.
