Heard a story on the local radio station yesterday. A local lady sent a Christmas present back home to Lithuania, but it got lost in transit. She visited her local Post Office and they suggested she fill out a claim form and send it off. She did this, and after 2 months decided to phone RM up to find out what the delay was. They could find no record of the claim, so suggested she filled in another. She duly filed a second claim form, and in the interests of a speed resolution, sent it recorded delivery. She followed the tracking online and it was signed for at 08.23 one morning. After another 6 weeks she called again to discover that although the letter was signed for, RM could find no record of the claim. Instead they suggested that she might want to file a third claim form!! Needless to say, she had phoned the local radio consumer programme to ask them to intervene on her behalf. I didn't hear what the outcome was, but it might be mentioned some time early next week. I'll let you all know if I hear the result. And we wonder why the odd package goes missing . . . . Andy
