Mr Dolly is a registered nurse. I will get him to register with them and leave comments at some point. Trouble is, he is about to start 4 x 13hr shifts so is going to be pretty much knackered till his days off. I would like to add something I have mentioned on this forum numerous times. Many medics and nurses are actively encouraging vaping. Last year I was admitted to a heart and lung ward and eventually diagnosed with COPD. Whilst I. There my consultant on ward round told me I was welcome to vape ON the ward in bed!! So I did. Next to several elderly patients around me. To say I was shocked was an understatement. B it it felt really good to be able to do it.

I know there are medical staff all over who realise already what a disaster not supporting e cigs is, however the organisations they represent don't for political reasons mainly. While I also realise engaging them will do little to change the minds of those higher than them in these organisations, the more support we can raise at all levels helps us a tiny bit. Any support we can get will expand the public awareness of the despicable activities of politicians, bureaucrats, "health" organisations etc. We need to be heard so the more people we can get correcting the misinformation the better.
Lets face it before all this activity with e cigs how many can honestly say they knew how corrupt the regulation of medicines worldwide was ? (regulators just about everywhere are structures much the same way as our MHRA). Personally I knew about captured regulation, but just not as much detail as I have learned in the last couple of years.

I dropped in on my NHS Smoking cessation clinic today.
I received a very warm welcome, had a long chat about Vaping, she was very interested, had not heard about or seen a PV, in this case a Vision Spinner with a Nova on top and a small 650 mah battery and Mini Nova. She even took a pic of the PV's to show colleagues.
She was aware of e-cig look a likes, but had not been able to do a breath carbon monoxide test, on anyone who just used e-cigs alone, and was very keen to do so. I did the breath carbon monoxide test, and it registered 4, that's in the non smoker bracket.
I am glad I did this, and urge anyone who has attended a NHS Smoking cessation clinic to do the same. It is a worth while exercise, she was very impressed and intended to find out more on Vaping asp.
