port el kantaoui is lovely you will get hounded by all the shops and market stalls and restaurants juts remember haggle for everything including food and drinks most restaurants sell beer but you have to state you want alcoholic else it will be the non alcoholic as standard
catamarans and pirate boats you can haggle to around a quarter of the asking price think we got on board for around £4.00 per person 2 yrs back
la shukran is a polite firm no thank you
it is gonna be bloody hot we normally go this time of year and it can easilly reach 40 degrees very nicely
no problems vaping there either
enjoy your holiday

We booked for port el kantaoui on Saturday to go on 10th of August. We ended up at the Hotel kenz because I liked the reviews on it. I tend to discount some of the poor reviews as people often expect 5* for a little money. I've never been but I'm sure we will both enjoy it.

the royal kenz is where we would normally stay it did look a bit tired in places but the spa is to die for look for the little lady with the white outfit she will give you a look around the spa before you give it a go (not my thing but i loved it) get a room over looking the terrace and pools it is lovely we were in room 128 it was modern and overlooked the terrace you can always email your preference direct to the hotel they wont respond but will try and accomodate your requirements for rooms etc good service very pleasant staff even abdulla was making me coffee at 0430 just as he was starting his shift in the kitchens be nice to the staff as they work bloomin' hard to make your stay enjoyable for little wages and now its all inclusive they get little in tips to what they were used too

I certainly will thanks collywobbles. As to the hotel looking a bit tired, that doesn't worry me. As long as I have a clean room with working amenities I'm happy as Larry.

I remember i went there as a child, and the only thing i remember was the beggars running up to me and shoving bubble gum into my mouth followed by their hands out asking for money for it
