yep, whatever is right for you & keeps you off the ciggys is how much you should vape, I probably get through about 4ml of 24mg per day, your body tells you when you've had enough Even if it seems like you vape more than you smoked, what does it matter when you're health is improving at the same time? Yes my vaping habit is similar to my old smoking habit...having that quiet moment alone away from the hustle & bustle is a hard habit to break. I know there is a question mark over exactly how harmless vaping is, some say it's no more harmful than the caffeine in a cup of coffee. More research needs to be done on the long term effect of nicotine (minus all the crap in cigarettes). For now, my improvement in health, fitness, bank balance and sense of well being is all the research I need.

Vaping has broken all my smoking habits, I don't reach for it first thing in the morning, i can go hours when i am out i.e. shopping with my mrs without being bothered by it at all, i went round the golf course tuesday and vaped only once (a single drag) where as i would of easily smoked 10 analogs before vaping. I think that's what my hubby (ardent non smoker) hoped would happen for me too, that I would have broken all my old smoking habits. Truthful I know he just thinks I've swapped one thing for another, which to be fair I have. I finally got through to him (which isn't easy as he really doesn't get why folk smoke) that even if the routine is the same as with ciggys, at least it's no longer ciggs. He couldn't argue with that and agreed. I can't see me vaping differently, or less, at the moment as am so over the moon to be not smoking and don't want to jinx or mess with what's working for me. Be a bonus if in the future I can go all morning without a vape, but am not going to run before I can walk. How long have you vaped and did you vape liked you smoked at the very start, or where you mindful of that not being something you let happen? Only three weeks so far, the first couple of days i vaped like a smoked but i didn't intend it to change my habits it's just happened naturally.

For now, my improvement in health, fitness, bank balance and sense of well being is all the research I need. Like you Adam that moment in the garage is as important to me as the nicotine hit I need. He just mentioned last night that he hoped it would mean less nipping out for me. I said sadly no, but then said what you said about it being both better for me and far less expensive (if I stop sneakly buying new kit ) I think he half hoped this would mean I would stop everything altogether, I can't see it, as I don't want to. I like my routine, the vapour, everything about vaping really, the people I have met on here. At the end of the evening, he said, either way the one thing is I am proud you have got off the cigs as I never thought you ever could. So as much as he'd like this to be short term I think I got through to him it won't be, and he got it.

I really do miss having my alone time, because now i am vaping my mrs wants me to do it in the house instead of on the step because it makes the house smell like fruit haha. When i am programming or doing reports for college i think to remind myself to step away from the computer every so often because i am not removing myself from it to go for a smoke break.

I vape a lot in the house but I can quite easily go an hour or two no vaping when out and about... So many places you can't vape where you used to be able to. I have nicotine mini lozenges (gotten from flea bay) for those times (like hospitals etc) I don't know how much I vape a day. At least 5 ml if not 10ml. Some of it leaks. Don't know and not really bothered... Just love vaping

It's completely different to when i was smoking, i was constantly checking where smoking area's were etc, but not anymore.

So an added bonus for you then really, I don't envy you but in a way I would be more than happy if it naturally happened to me too. Then if it doesn't no matter happy to vape away.

You may find that it does, it just takes more time to adjust, the main thing to remember is, you are off tobacco!

One of my daughters (I have 13 year old twins) questioned why do I still go out to the garage, she said stay in mum, no smell, not harming us. I just thought best not. I know it's not like I'm trying to say to my girls do this, it's great, but I think if I still go to the garage I am not encouraging them, not that I mean folk who smoke in their homes are, just I mean I'm happier if I don't. Plus nobody bothers me for my two mins in the garage...heaven.

You know the first thing I thought (well one of the first things) was at least now I can have a vape at the airport. If I'm right to assume you can't do they set the smoke alarm off in the toilets. I don't mean on the actual plane, but the duty free area toliets. I can just imagine myself nipping in the loo for a sneaky vape.

Sneaky vape in A+E (officially no vape place for me) in the disabled loo is fine.. I know that a vape can set off the odd smoke alarm As for your twin girls? Tell me more . I'm a twin (not identical - I'm the pretty one ) and we're divorced... Don't envy you there LOL

Mind you as much as they let rip with each other they do tend to have each others backs if anyone is mean to either of them. I and hubby are both only children so I do find the sibling rivalry hard to understand, but I do try. I find nipping to the garage for a vape helps, if you know. What I mean. Latest row is about who is more into One Direction out of them both. Head in hands, I give up at times..lol
