I sold the few rebuildables I had as I am just too much of a meat fingered Klutz to wick and coil in a respectable time frame so I am stopping trying Tease-smiley, other than I am using the T3s, protank and vivi novas and I might give a few of those a try when the time comes.

I know how u feel mate. I've given up trying with the mesh and wire. No matter what way I do it they turn out crap!! And ive wasted a fortune trying lol. Think I'll just stick to the cartomizers and iclear tanks. Still give good vape!!!

I decided Mesh wasn't for me, it doesn't suit the type of flavours I enjoy vaping PD . . . Silica/FG I'll still tackle on the drippers/Odysseus/Spheroid. Although I am becoming lazier and now having discovered these: www.vaporbreak.com/en/phonenix-rebuildable-atomizer/205--wick-for-phoenix-atomizer-10pcspack.htmlThey take the chore out of some coil building and are great for the dual coil drippers. Although I'm also very happy with the vape from Nova's/Evod/Protank and the occasional carto tank session. A bit like my cooking . . . if I can get someone else to do it for me, then I happily will.

I'm used to handling wire because I make jewellery so I find it easier. Plus I have the precision tools to do it as well. It really is a case of practice makes perfect, you can get better at them, but if you can buy replacement heads for stuff I guess that's easier and it's been made easier with the pre wound wicks as well. I suppose like with everything in the vaping world, there is something for everyone, some like rewicking, some just buy new heads and others take the middle ground and buy the pre-wound wicks. Not everything is for everyone

I find rewicking quite therapeutic, got home after a stressfull day yesterday, went into the kitchen and after I had focused on my coil for a bit I had forgotten all about the stresses at work.

I agree leek - I have to concentrate so hard on recoiling as I'm a novice at it, that I forget about everything else. The satisfaction of vaping on my own juice using my own coil is magic though! Andy

Rebuildables are not for everyone..
If something really stressed me out and there were alternatives, I wouldn't bother. So I wouldn't worry too much.

I never got my rebuildable to work. It ended up in the bin after looking the nuts for it.
I do recoil everything else though.... using pre wound stuff from vaperstall lol

I have not tried recoling or rewicking yet so can't comment, waiting on precoiled wicks to arrive from Fasttech and a lesson from chykensa when he has some free time. I am looking forward to trying.

I love to tinker so rebuildables are right up my street, it helps that I prefer the performance and flavour from a good rebuildable more than I do from the Chinese mainstream atties with the exception of a good 306.

My silica and ecowool wicks and kanthal just landed on my doorstep. Never rebuilt stuff before cos it's too easy to buy replacements but I might be joining you in the 'forget rebuildable world' shortly. haha

I'm with blakey ( Mark ) on this one.........I love a fiddle & I'm also a determined lil' bugger & won't be beaten, so to get a rebuildable up & running nicely with some home made juice is like heaven to me......plus I find it so much more theraputic than basket weaving (but that's another story).......but then, I've never quite been the full ticket........

Before you give up try some Kanthal Ribbon. I couldn't make a wick to save my life for my clockworks rda and was on the verge of selling it. I decided to give it one last go with ribbon and it was a lot easier. 4 wraps on 2mm wick gives me 1.5 nearly every time, on 3mm wick i get around 1.8-2.0

I've tried various rebuildables and am now quite happy with my protank and evods.... Mesh just doesn't do it for me (and stinks the house out) And hoping to quit vaping in the next 6 months to 1 year so don't want to spend too much Both protank and evods you can buy replacement heads for but I still keep a stash of dual coil cartos for emergency
