Had a really good night,stayed in St Christophers,but moved into the back,got a feeling someone never found us (sorry if your reading this) around 11-12 turned up 3 new members I wasnt expecting,one from UKV,one who had browsed the forums and a mad Spaniard called Hector from Facebook,additional to that Twiglet from UKV was a woman when I was expecting a man LOL,bit smished,made the last train home have to thank all those that came and made a really enjoyable evening,MarkS turned up and he has any photos going as I am sitting here staring at the SD card that should be in my phone . Oh and a young Chinese barman turned out to be a vaper

Thanks Chris,I really did miss all of those that couldn't make it,but kept thinking how nice it will be when all these new members can meet some you,they had so many questions and were so enthusiastic......and of course they have virgin ears

Hi alan. regarding Vapefest, can I suggest that our forum members arrange to meet at the venue at a given time, in a certain place, so that we can put faces to names.
Any suggestions how this can be done anyone . thanks.

Glad you had a good night, at least you southern vapers do attend meets unlike those up here in the West Midlands area, where some 4 meets have arranged and very poor turn outs.

Thanks Jeff,persistence is the key to meets,believe me I have sat through meets with just a few members turning up when I use to do my car meets,it just made me want to make it work more,I'm sure you'll get there,I think DiscoDes is already trying to arrange chrisjw has a thread for badges we all can sport,all in the meet section.

I also think we are very lucky with the LSE meets. The vast majority of us are of a similar age group, have similar values and sense of humour which bodes well for a close knit group.
It is also frequented by a good percentage of ladies too, which is great for us as I have heard some meets can very blokey which puts women off.

When you go thorough the building to the garden where the marquee is on the left was a hog roast marquee to the right was some pub benches these will be full from early on but we could meet in this area as there will be standing room.
If we say 1pm that will give plenty of time to brouse the stalls grab a drink then meet up and have a chat.
That will help those who can't put a face to a name.....I'm not in to name badges.
