Hey everyone.
Can someone point me in the direction of some high capacity imr 18500 batteries please?
Highest mah rating I can find is 1100 which seems meager for the size of the cell!!
Many thanks!

Thats about it. The trade off with IMR is lower capacity. Some specialized cells are rated around 1500 but their actual capacity is a bit less.
There are INR cells which are rated upto 1700 mAh but they are a very limited supply and not commercially available as far as I know.

I always buy flat tops, havent had an issue in any devices. For a telescopic they can mean the difference between a gap and showing threads or not.

Conversely, I always use button tops I have a Provari and button tops are recommended for that. Dunno about other devices...

Just recently acquired a Provari Mini and need to get some batteries. Will flat tops work?......I thought I had read somewhere that they had to be button tops so need to make sure before I order. I was thinking about the Efest 18350 and 18500 as I have the extension cap.

Thanks sleepy and eyebrooke. I sent a PM to Torchy over on UKV this afternoon as you get 10% off the price if you pay him direct without going through Ebay. Just waiting for a price. Also if you buy 4 pairs and pay direct at Ebay prices, he will send you another pair free.
