Hi Readey have you considered re wicking your existing Vivi Nova atty heads? Once you've done it twice is really is a piece of p**s and you'll then be on fresh wick and wire as often as you want, i find dry burning once or twice ok but it's no substitute for a re-wick imho, and for a fiver you could buy enough to last you 6 months, worth considering?

I have to agree here - I've only recently got into recoiling, and after a few fails, I have it sorted now. Cheap as chips (I've just ordered 4m of silica wick and 2m of Ekowool to try for total of about £6 - enough for about 50 recoils I guess!), and I have the whole process down to about 4 minutes per head.
Give it a try - there are loads of threads with links to good tutorials on YT and it's much easier than you would think!

You know, if money is any sort of consideration, I'd rather spend £16 on more replacement Nova heads (or even a Nova + 3 heads) than buy a Protank. It's not a very good gadget....it really isn't, and I'm not one for the clearo debate...I use ALL of the clearos on the market (more or less).
