How long does it take the batteries to charge, by the way? And is the button in the bowl or elsewhere? Can't quite tell!

No problem Jen,

The batteries take roughly 3-5 hours to charge but will last for days even with substantial usage.

For ease of use when holding , there is no dedicated button all you need to do is inhale normally and it will turn on
