The "SPHEROID" is maybe an option for you guys with dainty digits, but for sausage fingered people like myself those silly little knurled thumb screws are impossible to work with. trust me I tried! Probably the reason my wife and children are in the care of the local authorities!

The new models certainly look to be an advance on the older ones, but I'm passing for now You buy everything though Dave.

I think that in much the same way that juice is subjective to taste - atties are too. Cocomel is my mainstay juice and I have found that in penelope and odysseus or Ithaka it tastes quite different to how it tastes in a kayfun or a dream, it doesn't do to well in vivi novas and similar clearos, they just don't seem to provide the full range of flavour and in cartos its flavour is virtually stripped. In dripping atties and the likes of a 306 it tastes superb. With GVC the GG atties seem to be hopeless in comparison to the kayfuns and yet with whiskey cream the GG atties handle it better than the kayfuns. I have read posts where people say that the GVC tastes better with Ithaka than a kayfun I sold my two spheroids as soon as I tried the kayfun 2.1 because cocomel & GVC simply performed much better in a kayfun and yet I continually see posts where people are preferring the vape from a spheroid, don't get me wrong- the spheroid is a very good rebuildable but it just didn't work as good for me with the juice that I vape. I spent a few days with a taifun gt on loan and it performed very similar to a spheroid, it did a better job with cocomel than the GG stuff but not as good as a kayfun. It was a very well made attie and it never once struggled to keep up with wicking.
If I want to know what a juice is supposed to taste like then I drip it onto a 306 attie, then a good rebuildabe for me is one that can reproduce that flavour Different atties do different things with different juices so a good rebuildable for me may very well not be a good rebuildable for everyone else.
It is a mine field and its a shame that many excellent devices get panned because someones particular juice doesn't do so well in them In my finding the taifun is a very good rebuildable and if the juice you vape works well in it then the taifun will be better than the GG stuff and the kayfuns but pretty much the same as the spheroid.

You buy everything though Dave. There is a well known phrase involving pots and kettles that springs to mind Perpy Perhaps we are both reformed characters and only think about buying everything now instead of actually doing it

I think what you say blakey is spot on. Another factor though I think, especially with the Kayfun, is that it can make quite a bit of difference how you set it up. It certainly took me a few go's with different coils and air control settings before I felt I got the best out of it. Personally I enjoy the Kayfun and the Spheroid pretty much equally, although the same juice does taste different in them - but for me in a good way if that makes sense

Although, other than drippers I'm a bit off rebuildables right now and find myself largely using some of the brilliant clearo tanks there are about. Less faff is suiting me better.

I've got nothing much on my radar either Perpy - mainly because I've got everything I fancied There are indeed some good things around now and the EVOD for instance is seriously challenging the Imist in my affections for ready mades. Funnily enough I've been playing around with drippers as well and discovering the joys of dual coil ones. Have you got an Igo-W? A very nice looking dripper I just picked up from C9 which apparently works very well with a single coil as well.

Lol . . . you me both Dave, I should think between us we've more than some Vendors entire stocks. I've a Igo-W and a couple of other dual coil drippers, that much hasn't changed, it's still impossible for me to buy just one of anything! Seem to have gone a bit dual coil mad, on the Vivi Nova's ( not entirely convinced ) and the Iclear 16/30, both of those I like very much.
