No idea about the technicalities of it, but I wouldn't stack batteries period . . . I rather like my head being attached to my shoulders. Stick to the one 18350 until you get some other batteries ordered Bernard, the performance you'll get with that is more than adequate.

The 3400mAH Efests don't fit the Vamo Kaaru . . . they're that bit too fat, I'm not sure on the Panny's though.

Oh dear - that`s not good then... I got my Vamo last November, so don`t know what version it is, but the EF3400 fits OK here....they must have changed the dimensions of the tube on the newer versions

I have the flat top panasonic 3400mAh batteries - www.fasttech.com/products/1420/10001980/1141100They fit my Vamo V2 perfectly well, From what I can see from it the nippled ones should fit as well as the flat tops don't seem to compress the spring too much.

i had a good play with my v3 just now. where they have cut the spiral into it, is fairly sharp edging.. the top cap comes off and its not diamontes on it but little incuts which kind of sparkle. the led plate isnt as secure on as it could be. all in all i still reckon its worth the money (fasttech)

Personally I go for the Panasonic IMR batteries. I was told that they have safer chemistry than the ICR, however don't ask me what that means I get 2 days out of them, vaping about 5ml/day, 8-9W using the Vamo with these and I change the battery when it dips to 3.5V: www.fasttech.com/products/1233700

All in all better performance but still not sold on the swirly design, as you say it's cut quite deep and the tube look like a similar guage metal as V2 so Imagine it must affect the strength of it and could damage easier. Overall I quite liked it and it's a good cheap step up from ego's etc but OH's friend liked it more so it now stays across the street .... I've got to many mods anyway plus another couple on route
